Liked - house was lovely & well kitted out but you are paying for the location. Fantastic view over the estuary from sitting room on first floor. Plenty of movement on the water to keep you interested. St Mawes itself was a peaceful & pretty village. Good walking area - can take ferries to access different peninsulas. Useful village shop, PO and chemist. A number of castle fort & museum in Falmouth worth a visit. Downside- St Mawes itself is quite small. If you're looking to eat out every... (read more)

We stayed in Chy Mor for one week in May/June 2013. It was our first experience of renting a holiday apartment and we were overjoyed by the place. The location was great as was the property itself. Wonderfully decorated, with every utensil you could possibly ask for in the kitchen. Lots of board games to play when the whether wasn't so great. TV and DVD in each room. Lots of films in the property, so we found lots of things for the kids to watch. WiFi, which was useful for checking out... (read more)

Lighthouse Cottage was a delightful property located just north of Truro and central to all coastlines and areas of interest. The owners were very friendly and helpful and made sure our week in Cornwall (my first) was one to remember. The grounds are well cared for and beautiful. A Japanese garden sits next to a Buddha garden looking out over fields of cauliflower in a quiet country setting (only disturbed by our little lad practicing his karate, hiYAAA!). I would say, PRINT your... (read more)

We found Cornwalls Cottages very efficient and helpful. Booking was really easy and any questions answered quickly. We stayed in Morley's Cottage in Port Isaac which was perfect for the two of us and in a great spot, almost on the harbour, so we could see lots going on during the day. The cottage was clean and cosy and very quaint - we loved it. (read more)

We returned from a week at the End Barn in Bodmin booked with Cornwalls Cottages and have to say the whole experience was truly amazing. The End Barn is a wonderful property. The excellent facilities mirrored the photos perfectly and everything you needed (and more!!) was provided. The house was very clean on arrival without any marks, scratches or proof that anyone had stayed there previously. The booking process was simple and easy. The service felt very much more personal than other... (read more)

Recently returned from a week booked with Cornwalls Cottages and have to say the whole experience was excellent. We stayed at Trevissick Court in Porthtowen which was a great property. The property had excellent facilities and was very clean on arrival. The booking process was simple and easy and we were kept up to date with regular emails at each stage. The service felt more personal than other cottage rental companies we have dealt with before. Would recommend the company and the... (read more)

We had a wonderful time at Debs Cottage. The property was spotless on arrival well appointed and well provided with all that is required for a comfortable holiday. The position of the cottage overlooking the harbour was enviable and well placed for the Ship Inn and a great selection of eating places.the bus stops outside the cottage which enables you to explore other places in Cornwall easily. Parking was not a problem for us on the harbour side car parks. The views from the house over the... (read more)

This was the first time we booked a holiday through Cornwalls Cottages, to stay in a lovely converted barn near Penzance. As a last minute holiday, the booking proceedure was straight forward, with good communication from both Cornwalls Cottages, and the owner of Anjarden Byre. Terms and Conditions were set out plainly, so you knew what to expect and what was required by you. We really enjoyed our stay at Anjarden Byre, which was set in a beautiful location and the conversion was lovely.... (read more)

we stayed at Newton Cottage from the 11th May to the 18th May. The cottage was excellent, however there are a few points I would like to raise which would be helpful to future guests. Overall the cottage is excellent, however minor points would be 1. more towels please!!1 3 small towels for two people for one week! 2. please improve the pillows! - after the second night I thought my neck was broken! 3. slight smell of damp upstairs, hopefully will have dried out soon. One major point - it... (read more)

I stayed at The Hermitage from Saturday 27th April - Friday 3rd May with my husband and two cocker spaniels. The cottage was really cute and well equipped with a modern kitchen, two lovely bathrooms, a double room (we have preferred a 5ft) and twin. The location was superb with fantastic views. The only down side was the parking as it wasn't as we had expected, but not a problem as we parked on the main public car park which cost us £18.00 for four days and was a 5 min walk. The owners... We (two people and a dog) booked our short, but wonderful holiday at Carvinack Cottage on the Roseland Peninsula through Cornwallscottages.co.uk. Cornwallscottages.co.uk: The staff at Corwallscottages.co.uk is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We communicated a few times via email and on the phone due to a mistake we made and they helped us to sort things out in a professional but also personal manner. Thoroughly recommened! Carvinack Cottage: The cottage is a home away from home and we... (read more)

Right from the start of booking our holiday everything was just dealt with professionally and perfectly! Cornwall Cottages kept us informed throughout with details of the cottage and journey etc and made it so easy to deal with. Riverside Cottage itself was just perfect, we would not have changed anything at all. We were met by the Estate's Staff who were so helpful and very friendly, even got my Ipad working on the Wifi!!!! The cottage was homely, cosy, and very modern with everything... (read more)

This is an apartment which is part of Pendennis Village. Very airy and comfortable in two bedrooms but the third smaller bedroom is a bit chilly if the weather is cold, though probably fine in the summer. Good location and nice views of the marina, well equipped and fairly clean. Would recommend it as it is reasonably priced and well located. (read more)

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Polhendra Barn, near the charming village of Portscatho. The barn itself was lovely, warm and homely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was really well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Portscatho is a quaint little village, the local pub was great, lovely atmosphere, great food, kids and dog were very welcome! Porthcurnick beach is lovely, even if we didn't have the best weather! The kids could have spent all day... (read more)

We recently stayed at Trevennen West in Cornwall organised through Cornwall's Cottages and we have had a fantastic time. The booking process was very easy with reminders from the the company at given times leading up to the stay which was well organised. The accommodation was a home from home - very well appointed and perfect for our week stay with friends attending a wedding in St Mawes. You can tell that this accommodation is used as a get away for the owners as well as a rental -... (read more)

We stayed in St Just in The Studio, Nanpean Barn. The flat was lovely- very clean with beautiful views. It was well equipped and had a good shower. Cornwall cottages were very helpful and informative throughout the booking process. I would say that the accommodation was good value for money and very tastfully decorated. There was so much to do and see in the Cornwall area. It was our first visit and it was one of the best holidays we have ever had.Everyone we met was exceptionally... (read more)

I thought it was brilliant from start to finish. The accommodation we booked the Old Dairy at Tregavthen was clean and warm and had plenty or space and perfect for our small dog. The owners themselves were brilliant with providing us with wood and baking us a cake on arrival date. Only slight critism was that 10am is an early departure time. Cornwalls cottages were also fantastic with communication every time we exchanged emails they were polite and friendly and quick to respond therefore... (read more)

We have just had the most wonderful Christmas week's holiday at Holly Cottage in the little creekside hamlet of Coombe, near Truro. It's a traditional granite cottage which has been beautifully renovated, the furnishings are of the highest standard and the owners (The Tregothnan Estate) have thought of everything to make your holiday terrific - including leaving wellingtons for guests to use, maps, binoculars so you can watch the birds. It's the perfect place if you want an absolutely... (read more)
