With our second child's arrival due in July, it was a loooong wait for a summer holiday in September this year. We had been counting down the days since Feb and were really looking forward to what all the reviews had promised. In short, they are all absolutely true.
Every morning we would rush out to feed the chickens, ducks, goose and guinea pigs with squeals of delight from the children. That of course was after breakfast of fresh croissants etc delivered to our door. Then it would be out to visit one of the many, many things to see in Northern Brittany.
We particularly loved Dinan Port (try Auberge de Terres Neuvas for great fish and child welcome), the ramparts of Dinan town, St. Malo (try Le Tournesal for Crepes) and its beach, Fort La Latte/Cap Frehel.
What really makes La Lohuas though is Caroline. Her attention to detail, her tips each morning, her care and thoughtfulness to everything. Don't forget to try proper unpasteurised milk as well, delicious!
