“I thought I was buying good quality cookware”

Written on: 14/08/2011 by sueleesr

I spent £150 on a set of these pans in a sale a few years ago. Within a couple of years the small pan lining started to blister and break away. I have never used metal utensils in them and never put them in the dishwasher. Now all saucepans are the same and the small one is going rusty where scored. I don't use it anymore. I chased up the lifetime guarantee and was told I had to send the pans in the post to Birmingham where they would be examined to see if they qualified. As I couldn't spare them I haven't done this and have just promised myself some replacements when I see a good offer. I did buy an very similar style milk pan from Asda, which I use all the time and is still in almost perfect condition. It cost me £9. If Asda still did this range I'd have the lot.
Jamie, I think you need to get personally involved in this.
