Downloadster is a small software download site that offers VLC Media Player for absolutely FREE. I was looking to download VLC as it was, which I must add is phenomenal, and was referred to Downloadster by someone on a forum I frequent. What really won me over, and also encouraged me to give a review, is that the download process was the fastest I have ever witnessed from a free software site. Every time I look for a good site to download the latest software I need, I have to jump through hoops trying to get it completed. With Downloadster it was straight to the point and no additional hassles. For those of you who are interested in VLC, it is a media player that can play just about any file, even if corrupted, and also converts formats. If you haven't heard about it, give it a shot, you won't be disappointed. The layout of the site leaves a bit to be desired, but it gets the job done, and it does it well. There is nothing to lose and everything to gain, so give Downloadster a visit and you'll see what I mean.
