I bought Diskstation DS3612 xs with 12 hard drive installed on raid 5 however last week one of the hard drive failed and I replaced and system was degraded after replacing faulty hard drive system has repaired but after that unable to access my folder contacted to synology help desk in the UK and they could not solve it contacted to synology and someone managed to log in to NAS remotely and she said We check there is file system error in the Diskstation and cause this problem. that was 3 days ago since that no reply or anything I just been ignored I have really struggle to find the solution how to repair this system file but not success now my volume1 has crashed and I lost my 14 TB of data as you can imagine not happy @ all technical and customer support is very bad I would never buy synology stuff again and would not recommend to any one shame on you syno
