The process was so easily from start to finish. No fuss just plain and simple process

21 days before renewal I always go through Quidco to all comparison sites. Budget came out as best price this year with decent customer rating. Different prices quoted on different sites, so important to go through them all. Sign up process was easy. How to opt out of auto-renewal was clear (some companies hide it). Haven't made a claim so can't rate them on that.

Similar to other reviewers. I got a quote on Compare the Market but when I went through to Budget’s website they increased the price by £400. I didn’t change any of the information provided to Compare the Market and it was less than a minute after the quotes were found on Compare the Market. Apparently they are both owned by the same company and seem to be putting their own insurers at the top of the list by lying about the price they will give you.

I was disappointed that the increase was as high as it was - on the comparison site Budget were quoting £230 - went to their web page to complete my purchase and the price had shot up to £318. Looked at several options via comparison sites Budgets policy I felt was suitable for me. Site easy to navigate and make a purchase. This is the first time I've made a decision without speaking to an agent.

I recently renewed my van insurance with budget. I was disappointed with the price increase but following research I understand all providers have increased their prices as they need to maintain/increase profitability. As I continue to need my vehicle for transport I had little choice but to renew at the increased rate. Apart from cost I am happy with the service I receive from budget.

Got a quote online on Friday to start Sunday. The quote was extremely good. I d already tried a few comparison site and they were a lot dearer. We did nt want anything special, but we got a good quote with everything we needed and it was all sorted and paid for in a matter of minutes. We ve already told family members to get a quote when their renewals are due as it was so competitive. Very happy .

I didn’t really appreciate the 50 mins to insure another vehicle onto an existing policy, especially given the time spent the day before on the phone. I hear you say “why didn’t you do it online”! Tried that but as soon as I put my registration number in of my previous vehicle the app would not let me get a quote. Surely there are other tyres who insure more than one vehicle with this company? Then they tried to charge an administration fee, that didn’t happen. To top it off they asked me to prove my no claims on the other vehicle - I’ve done the policy through them so they have the proof!!! Honestly the whole process was like hitting your head against the wall! Really not that impressed at all.

Auto renewal very helpful and easy. Renewal premium was very competitive and a great deal lower than last year. Always friendly and helpful on the phone. Website can be unresponsive at times.

They cancelled my car insurance for no reason no warning just an email on the day
