Written on: 14/12/2011 by HighOctane

Run by the charming Christine & friendly Morris this fantastic tea shop / coffee house is a massive asset to the area. All treats & cakes are made freshly on site, with an array of inventive yumminess to choose from! Their is the option to eat in a lovely seated area with fresh flowers or take out. There is a lovely garden at the back for either parking bikes out of harms way or to enjoy your tea on a warm day. Dogs are welcome in the outside area - it's not enclosed. (read more)

“Fantastic new tea / coffe shop opens in Shepreth”

Written on: 29/11/2011 by gebb (1 review written)

The old Post Office and shop in Shepreth, has been tastefully converted into a tea and coffee shop - Teacake. I have been twice, once on opening day and then three weeks later. The cakes are homemade - I had scones straight out of the oven - mouthwateringly good and I enjoyed the best latte for a long while. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and I can see this cafe becoming the 'must meet' location for friends in the South West Cambridge/Royston area. Totally recommended. (read more)
