Been recommended so 4 of us went for lunch. Attractive decor in the room. Chose a table, it was early, a little after noon so lots to choose from. Two of the chairs had cushion seats and two wooden seats. The wooden ones were rather unyielding. I noticed that the unoccupied table nearest to us had two cushion seated chairs and two with wooden seats. I decided to swop our two hard chairs for the two cushion seated chairs.

The waitress noticed and said " not very fair on other people is it". There was no one else there. I really don't see such a minor rearrangement of the furniture to suit the comfort of customers should be frowned upon. The arrangement was changed back soon after we stood up and before we had left the premises.

As the previous reviewer had noted, plate clearing was started before we had all finished.

Requests for extras were not warmly received.

Food was presented well but quite highly priced.

Essentially at these prices the service needs to be better
