StarMugs Coffee is located in a small complex very near the Tower of London, it's located in the ideal tourist trap area and I imagine it's a nice area to bring in the tourist during the peak seasons.
StarMugs sells a selection of pre packed sandwiches and drinks. It also sells a range of overpriced souvenirs many of which can be purchased at a 1/3 less in other nearby parts of London
The shop name clearly is a play on words of another well known coffee shop but any similarity ends there.
The shop is quite cheesy, avoid the ice cream as some of it has been left out of the freezer for 30 mins then put back In and refrozen.
Also beware of their 'all breakages must be paid for' policy as you may be charged for items you did not actually break and that are dangerously stacked on top of each other.
In my opinion, the manager is incompetent and has no common sense and quite frankly does not desire to run a business, he is rude and has no idea how to deal with a customer, I have never been spoken to so rudely in a shop and if we were not in such a rush, would have called the police.
My advice - AVOID THIS SHOP
