Oh M&S how could you get this so wrong!

I regularly visit M&S cafes when I am in the stores in the Glasgow area, usually outwith busy times. Yesterday I took my 3 year old granddaughter for lunch in the cafe in ,at 12.30pm, and was appalled at the lack of organisation and cleanliness. I had to wait for almost 20 mins in a queue before being served. I had chosen a cheese and ham toastie that I tried to give to an assistant to warm up and was told I had to wait until I was paying before giving it over. If she had taken it from me I could have picked it up when I reached the payment and coffee area. Generally there was not enough staff, the system did not operate efficiently and the tables were cluttered with dirty crockery. Come on Marks, you can surely do better than this!
