I bought a pair of summer shorts from River Island. Within a week the fly zip on them had broken. Useless I thought...I'll never shop there again.
I'd been out of the country for a month and so the date for returning the goods had elapsed. Nonetheles I contacted River Island Customer Services and asked for a refund. They provided me with a freepost address and lo and behold within a week refunded my £30. A lesson in how to retain a customer. Well done River Island!
