“Outrageously poor practice by Quiz”

Copy of a post I just placed on Quiz's Facebook page, BE WARNED:Your company is outrageous, disgusting and I'm on a mission to warn and inform people of your disgusting practices if something goes wrong. I bought 2 pairs of Silver shoes for my daughter and granddaughter. As my daughter got out of the car to enter the church (as a bridesmaid), the shoe fell apart. Anyway after wearing the shoes for 5 mins and stepping 5 yards I took them back to the shop to be told: 'Our company policy is NOT to replace faulty goods (that have been sold not fit for purpose) we will have to send them back to the manufacturer, because for all we know you've done it yourself', which wasn't great but no alternative offered. Oh and when I went to buy the shoes I asked the woman behind the counter,: 'Excuse me, do you have these in a size 4 please' to which the assistant snapped'Wait a minute, can't you see I've got paper work to do'! Anyway, I asked for the head office number and called it, I dealt with someone called Beckie who was in a shop (I could hear the background noise) I thought it weird that they didn't do head office business in offices. She called me back and said they were at the manufacturers and they didn't have an answer yet, another week later she called to say 'It was their fault, please return to the Hanley branch for a replacement pair, a day or two later the shop in The potteries shopping center rang and said: 'Come and pick up the shoes, and pick up a replacement pair'. I went into the shop and was sneered at by the original very angry shop assistant Danielle who told me she knew nothing about it and wouldn't give me any shoes', I asked her to call head office, she told me she wasn't allowed. I was given a different head office number. There I spoke to a lady who said I had never spoken to their head office and no complaint was on their system, she said she'd speak to the area manager and get back to me the same day, well it's 3 days later Quiz has had my money, the shoes I bought and I can't get anyone to help. Outrageous, disgusting service. 'BE WARNED'.

wow. it must have been a really bad brunch. i know teh policies arent so good there, but staff being angry at work... wasnt liverpool or something was it?
