“Lovely local clothes shop”

I have bought clothes from this shop for years, which have paid for themselves I have worn them so often. If the shop has run out of stock they have made a real effort to find new or alternative. As to service, maybe it is a personal thing. I have found it perfectly judged - staff leaving me to browse without bothering me, but there when I needed help. (read more)

“Terrible snotty service”

Great to find a shop in rural Dorset selling nice things - clothes upstairs and gifts down - but that's all I can say that is good about this small shop. The owners offer terrible service, are bordering on rude, snotty and offer a fantastic example of risky buying from a small independent retailer. AVOID - unless you enjoy the stuffy French waiter experience! Also, if you need to take something back, and in our case it was a damaged item, expect to have problem. This is not the first time... Disagree totally.
