I have been a customer of Mrs Sparkles for about 6 months now, i am extremely happy with the cleaning they do for me every week, i couldnt do such a good job myself. I am surprised at all of the negative comments because I have had a very different experience. I used the company last December to do a one off clean using a voucher and was pleased with the result. I have now booked them on a regular basis (fortnightly) and they have been twice. Today, I specified a list of jobs I wanted them to do and they did that AND MORE. Due to an accident several years ago i found it difficult to keep on top of all the cleaning so i made the decision to pay for a cleaning service. I am very pleased for you, really, I wish my experiance had been the same.
I left money for the extras to be done but that was not the incentive required.
The cleaners that came to my home were not in uniform although one of them was sporting a black eye, had it not been for the fact my Daughter knew they were coming would have not let them in!
I wish she had not!
And no offer of sorting it out or a refund and I was very polite on the telephone.

None of my staff had a black eye on this visit nor have I ever noticed that one had a black eye, although how this would in any even hamper a clean I do not know. ALL my staff are uniformed in a pink or blue polo shirt and black pants, you were not at home to see this, you were on holiday! Your house was left in pristine condition as I have mentioned, you didn't come home to inspect for 4 days! I cannot for the life in me wonder why you are trying your utmost to damage my company that I have worked very hard for 6 years to build up. Ive tried to sort out your complaint and Im very sorry that you feel the need to carry on this vindictive onslaught towards us!

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought a wowcher for this cleaning company! I paid for a 4/5 bedroom clean, even though I only have a 3 bedroomed house but 2 bathrooms, thought it would be fair. Oh my word... they cleaned only 2 of the bedrooms, not the dining room, paid extra for the windows and skirtings and door frames and they never even did the skirtings and left the windows worse than they were. I believe there has been some misunderstanding with regards to the telephone call between yourself and our office. You were on holiday when we came and cleaned and for 4 days your daughter was in the house, this does give time for dust to settle etc. I have tried to deal with this for you and apologise for any misunderstanding or dissatisfaction on what we believed was a good clean and also signed off as such by your daughter.

My Daughter was in the house for 2 days, dust may settle but it has to be disturbed first!
The window in the kitchen made itself streaky and smeared I would presume then.
I suppose dining room and the third bedroom refused to let your cleaners in!
Skirtings and door frames were selectively 'washed' down
I think the key thing is YOU believed it was a good clean, clearly your clean and my clean are poles apart. As I have said, I think your team are letting you down.

I bought a groupon vouchers for my oven to be cleaned, my extractor fan, my fridge, my microwave, my kitchen cupboard doors, my kitchen floor and the skirting boards! My over got cleaned but my 2 year old son could have done better. All the other stuff didn't get touch. Oh sorry they shined my kettle! Thanks Mrs SHAMBLES! I think they are like magpies and only like shiny things, they shined my towel radiator, bin lid and even the loo brush holder!
Everything else was a mess.
I was accused of having a dirty house!
I hope to see them on Watchdog sometime.

Thank you for your review. I apologise if you were not satisfied. Had you called our office and not shouted down the phone, we would have been really happy to come back to sort the clean out for you. Can I just say that your wife signed off the customer smart plan to say she was happy with the clean and commented on how she could now make a mess again!

I was asked to sign a form to say that your cleaners had been and was told to call the office if i was happy/unhappy with anything. Which i did and the customer service I received was appaling. I did not say the comments above. I did comment on my kettle/toaster being shiny which they were. That was it. I cannot believe you continue to quote comments that are not true. I have never come across such bad customer service in my life. Again this information has been passed onto Groupon.

I bought my cleaning deal from Mrs Sparkles via Wowcher. They came yesterday and I am utterly disappointed, I have used cleaners before and the results were left wanting in comparison, the price, £24, was about the same. I tidied extensively the night before, I had also had a big tidy in the Easter holidays, to make the cleaning really easy. Thank you for your comments. Our cleaners as explained to you couldn't get the dark spots off the window as they didn't want to scratch the glass (the marks needed a scraper). The cleaners mentioned there was a lot of dust, but can I just say that you were not in the property so how you can assume we use filthy cloths is beyond me! Our cloths are clean and we use clean ones on every home we visit! We also did extra work - unpaid for and your instructions were to leave the rooms that were a mess!
We do pride ourselves on both our cleaning and customer service so I apologise for any inconvenience this experience may have caused.

Purchased a voucher and as others have said the quality of cleaning was appauling. Paid for extras but this hadn't been done, no sign of furniture moved or surfaces wiped. When I phoned up to complain I was met with a list of excuses, clearly well versed. Plenty of choice for cleaners, don't choose this one! (read more)

This company is an outrage. Bookin via groupon I believed I was getting excellant value for money for a clean apparently worth £100.00. Upon booking this as offered extras from [name removed] the manager such as windows doors and skirting boards, in which I booked both at an extra fee. I was told I was first clean on the rota and at 2pm, 2 cleaners turned up at my door one of whom looked very un clean herself. Bought a groupon voucher and opted for the additional services at extra cost. Was ensured furniture would be moved and cleaned under, skirting boards would wiped down, windows cleaned, all room hoovered, dusted, mopped etc. Returned home after work and non of the above had been achieved. Do not waste your money on this company. Purchased a living social voucher to have my four/five bed home cleaned. Used this company last year with a groupon voucher. Terrible service, clueless staff, arrived hours late with the dirtiest mop I have ever seen. Was supposed to pay an extra £15 for woodwork / doors being cleaned - washed down properly. Proceeded to clean all doors (5 bed house) with one cloth with astonish on - NO WATER - just chalky cleaner. I rang them on Thursday and to book a time range (i know they dont give a time slot!). I was told (by Beth) the scheule is not yet ready but they will do me as first job on Monday. I had happily arranged a late in work on Mon and waited for them till 9:30. I rang them up and was told "their schedule" shows me as down in the afternoon. “Horrible service, my teenager son can do better!”

When something is too good to be true it probably is... And Mrs Sparkle is perfect example of that. Where do I start? We have booked a service well in advance but about a week ago things changed and the date was no longer convinient for us. So we called Mrs Sparkle asking to reschedule. I booked their services a month in advance to clean my 2 bedroom flat, two girls arrived demanding somewhere to park, since I live in a flat in the city centre and I don't drive I don't have a parking space.
