This review is about how an issue was handled by management and not about the staff who carried out the work. £80 paid was over the phone for a house clean. Five days later, £120 was taken from same bank account of elderly lady for ? - we still don't have an answer. This was queried and the staff member said she didn't deal with it but the owner would call back. TWO WEEKS later owner still did not call to explain what had happened or refund the money. A call to the office and a message left with another staff member who said the owner would call on Monday morning. A message from the owner was left on answer machine saying that the refund had been authorised and that this had been explained to the client by the owner and that everything was in order at their end. The owner had NOT spoken to the client. A call to the owner was made and I (acting on behalf of the client) was told that the refund had been authorised but she didn't have the details to hand as to when that was done. The bank has now confirmed it was done the same day as that call! I was asked by the owner if I thought she was lying about refunding the money - as she couldn't or wouldn't give me details of that refund it was difficult to answer. Instead of apologising for the error(?) and explaining how it happened she got annoyed with me for questioning her professionalism and eventually "thanked" me for my call and hung up. As this owner IS Molly Maids Glasgow it would be pointless contacing a Support
Centre. However, as the Bank have advised that this was an illegal transaction, I will pursue this further to ensure it doesn't happen to another vulnerable person. Shame on you Molly Maids Glasgow.

Thank you for your feedback. Our Support Office have discussed the situation with MOLLY MAID Glasgow, who are very apologetic for the clerical error. The team have kept the customer informed all the way along, and a refund was made as soon as they were able. We apologise for any distress or inconvenience this may have caused to our customer.
