Cineworld : Worst ever!

Considering the price was almost a third higher than what I usually pay, I would've expected at least a reasonable viewing exeperience. This wasn't to be though.
Attempting to watch The Woman In Black in a crowded cinema was always going to be difficult noise-wise, but this was ridiculous. Now while people making noise isn't the cinemas fault, it took 2/3 of the film before staff dealt with it, and succeeded in causing as much disturbance as the noise-makers. Any atmosphere built up by the film was totally destroyed, and in fact it verged on pointless trying to watch it. Hard to become in enveloped in the creepy atmosphere whilst two staff with walkie-talkies are walking up and down the aisles!
Add to this the worst-smelling toilets I've ever encountered in a cinema, the absolutely horrific (more so than the film at least) food and drink prices, and the utterly ridiculous ban on consuming your own drinks it all adds up to my worst cinema experience ever.
A complaint resulted in a cut n' paste reply, so they're definitely not concerned whether their customers get what they paid for.
There is a large choice of multiplex cinemas, so I would definitely advise people to avoid Cineworld if at all possible. Actualy contempt for the customer is how I feel they operate.
From now on it will be "anywhere but Cineworld" for me.
