I always get that feeling of nostalgia, when the family start to decorate for the holidays; so exciting when the good ol' Woolies Christmas tree once more arrives at pride of place in the sitting room! On a practical level, it doesn't shed any needles, so it is much tidier. Overall the instructions are good, and the tree is very easy to assemble and decoration is a dream. It is getting more and more difficult (impossible?) to find new bulbs of the correct kind, however, and going to the electricans 'down the road' doesn't help: there are so many different types it's quite bafling! Happily, I found the exact replacement, just by entering the type number in to the search box ( "Woolworth type H2" worked for me) from a brilliant vendor on Ebay who will deliver these post free in time for Christmas. Now the tree is lit up, we can dim the lights, and enjoy the spectacle, wouldn't miss this for anything!
