Very unhelpful customer service. I emailed early to request the last order date for deliveries and was advised 18th December. Placed order on 17th and noticed a disclaimer not guaranteeing delivery and thought that was fair enough when dealing with couriers etc. Placed my order and payment taken, no movement on my order and despite emailing and calling I couldn't contact them. my daughter oerderd a hamper for my birthday from the usa .In the hamper there was scones, cream, jam, and shortcake biscits. Hamper arrived in a cardboard box with just my address no other notes to say cream inside .My family kept the bok hidden from me not knowing that there was cream inside.I opened box on my birthday only to find that the cream and scones had gone bad .My wife phoned simply cornish hampers they said that it was not there responsabilty as there was a label on the box to... I was struggling to find a decent present for my dads birthday and then i found Simply Cornish Hampers. Like all dads he likes food and likes drink, I also currently live in Cornwall so it was a no brainer. The site was really easy to use and i paid with paypal so no credit card hassle. I ordered on friday morning and it arrived the following morning so great service. He said it was well packaged and the hamper itself is great.
