put your money in a tin, & go shopping yourself

We just got our Park Hamper... and it is like the cheapest of the cheap farmfoods frozen food, the joints are smaller than we thought, the packs of chops, look like the would dry out when cooked they are so thin, nothing to excite us about having our Christmas dinner, in fact my wife was so upset, that I have said we will go get some more shopping, to make sure our Christmas meal, feel like a treat and not something scrooge, would serve... really People our cost, £230.... I took the list of stuff to out local butcher, a few sample.. he said he could do the same for around £140, and point out he does a christmas savings card. he showed me a hamper he was about to deliver, that cost £150... it was twice the amount i had got from parks... and he had added a bottle of wine, a Christmas card, and Christmas cake.
