I ordered a Christmas Hamper of frozen meat from Park. It was delevered this morning, it came with a list of what was in the box, and everything was there, however it wasnt what I thought i was ordering. I believed I was ordering whole chickens, whole legs of lamb and chops and steaks of various meat. What actually arrived was pre-packed portions of cheap, bad cuts of meat, all very fatty or mostly bone, no whole chickens in sight. As for the lamb I was under the impression I was receiving, there was a small leg, cut in half - posing as two joints. The beef joints that did come were small and very fatty, the gammon doesnt look particularly appetising and it all looks very cheap and un-appealing. If I had physically seen the hamper before I had ordered, or even better - an acurate representaion of what I was buying, then there was no way I would have proceeded with my order. I called the customer helpline, whereupon I was greeted by 'Shirley', a rather unhelpful lady who appeared to have better things to do than help me out, who told me there was nothing she or anyone could do about it. I told her that I was extremely unhappy and that I would not eat any of the food I had been sent. She didnt seem to want to help me out or tell me why I wasnt fully informed of the hampers contents, and then she rushed a very unfriendly goodbye and I was hung up on. I am extremely upset that not only were Park very unhelpful, but now I have a freezer of meat that I will not eat, and I have paid and lost a lot of money from it too, right on top of Christmas.
