I have just thrown away two dozen mince pies because the Morrisons Best Mincemeat has a very strong taste of alcohol. Normally I would be very happy with mincemeat with a flavour of alcohol but the overwhelming taste from the Morrison's filling is very synthetic which masks any other flavours from the other ingredients. This is the worst filling I have tasted in many years of making mince pies.
