Dermino007's review of Cadbury Roses

“Gone in all but name.”

written by Dermino007 on 31/12/2016

Growing up one of my memories of Xmas were of a tin Roses. They are now a shadow of their former selves. Eat one, & the sweetness of the over sugared bland filling immediately overpowers any possibility that you may taste the chocolate. They are now wrapped in large envelopes to try and hide the 25% drop in box content since 2011. Cadburys have been quoted as saying that this means they can be competitively priced. Sadly in my opinion it is just another example of lazy management who are unwilling or unable to satisfy customers expectations over bonuses or shareholders divideds. These are no longer a treat, just something to rewrap and pass on should you receive them. Shockingly poor, overpriced and off my Xmas list. Even the cadburys chocolate block is gone. If enough people stop buying this product then it will either revert to what it was or vanish. Either is preferable to the dreadful disappointment of eating Cadburys Roses.
