Oh how I loved to open a box of Roses chocolates whether they be from the super cute card board box version or the awesome Christmas roses tin (that you could use afterwards for many years for numerous purposes). No longer. Plastic box (which I realise it has been for a while now - but still). But the chocolates are now also all wrapped in dull as dishwater non-descript wrappings that all look the same just different colours - oh how I miss lifting the lid of the tin to unveil the twinkling jewels, how I miss the foil and the making of foil butterflies whilst scoffing the rest of the box. The little strawberry creams wrapped in pinky red foil the coffee in brown...yes Cadburys this was part of the exciting experience of Roses chocolates! This was all before eating the chocolate. Why do this, why break something that worked so well? So disappointing...totally first world problem I realise but I just don't get it...
