I bought a box of cadburys' roses chocolates a few years ago, I had not bought this product for quite a while and did so on this occasion as they were on special but they were awful. My memories of them were that they were yummy, the centers of orange and strawberry cream along with the hard centers were favorites. My husband bought me a box of roses for mothers' day, had I known he was going to do this I would have said don't bother. Nothing had changed they were horrible and after eating a few they are still sitting there after two weeks. The centers are tasteless now the same goes for Cadbury Snack, the centers used to taste like pineapple and strawberry etc. but now all taste the same and the actual chocolate leaves a very bad taste in your mouth. Why I wonder is this the case, one would guess the company endeavoring to save money by producing a much inferior product and thinking that we the consumer won't notice but you have cut off your nose to spite your face as I will not waste my money on your product. I would rather spend my dollar on a quality product even if this means as a result I have to have less of it. I am sure I am not the only one that would be of this opinion and can only wonder at the mentality of the decision makers at Cadbury whereby a reputation of a good product is just ruined, a very difficult thing to get back buyers of your product when you have endeavored to deceive them into buying an inferior product and thinking that they wouldn't notice. I also noticed just for the re rod when you reduced the size of your blocks of chocolate but still charged the same for them. Is this why your product is constantly on special at the supermarket as this is the only way you can get people to purchase your product. A good reputation ruined by management that have been employed and obviously think consumers are stupid, quite insulting, I will no longer buy Cadbury unless some major problems with the products are improved. Good luck with that, such a shame when you had such a good reputation years ago.
