“Wow! A truly enjoyable meal at Hoinam, Cwmbran”

I have visited this restaurant on many occasions. The food on the £5 lunch special is brilliant value (better than that well known burger chain for value!). Amazing Dim Sum! Evening meals very tasty and well cooked. Excellent customer service from the lovely lady with long hair! She made me a.lovely ginger and lemon drink to soothe my cold, this was a really nice gesture and it was most appreciated. I can only say to try this little.gem in Cwmbran fo yourself. We have visited this little Gem on many occasions and have not been let down yet. The £5.00 lunch menu is excellent value for money and much tastier than any prepackaged, frozen meal!(I can only surmise that the negative earlier comment was from a rival!) We have had all the lunch time meals (at different times!). All I can say is that all the dishes were well cooked, presented and tasty. The food was gorgeous, everybody got what they wanted and also got a little extra. The staff service was amazing and all dressed sensibly, there were very polite and did nor turn there backs on us once. Was a amazing meal, also DoD not cost too much as there food was lovely. Thanks (read more)

“Spicey crispy beef?”

Very disappointed. beef with mushrooms had two pieces of beef! When asked, waitress said it was too expensive to add more beef! Crispy spices chilli beef wasn't! A damp squid more like! Curry was purely chil shop, chips were cold and again straight chip shop! Restaurant was purely cafe layout, staff looked untrained. Will never return, prefer a cold take away. (read more)

“icelands is cheaper!!!!!”

i tried the £5 lunch offer yesterday and quite frankly i was appalled. Now i dont expect much for my £5 but i do expect better than what was clearly rehydrated food from a microwave. The service was more than adequete and the starter of small chicken pieces was nice but the chow mein i had for mains had clearly been put in the microwave which is simply not good enough. For £5 i could have got 5 of these meals from icelands and they would more than like ly taste better!!!! Will not be... (read more)
