“SAPPHIRE BATTERSEA, HETTY FEATHER SEQUEL!!! READ THIS!!!”

* I have just read and finished Sapphire Battersea, by Jacqueline Wilson, the second book in the Hetty Feather Trilogy. I read Hetty Feather, so I was very eager to see what happened next.I would describe this triloghy as witty, emotional and informative, as it is seat in around the 1880s.
The last book is about a foundling girl christened Hetty Feather, whose mother counld not look after her when she was young. After living with her beloved foster family, Hetty is sent back tp the horrid Foundling Hospital, though she does run away to find her real mother.
Now, in Sapphire Battersea, it turns out that Ida, the kindly kitchen maid, is Hetty's true mum. Suddenly Hetty is given a position as a maid-of-all-work, in a mansion that belongs to a mysterious old author, who Hetty hopes will help her to publish her "life-story". Ida becomes a servant near the seaside, when she is fired from the Hospital, but she has a racking cough, and Hetty is worried about her Mum. Would she be alright?
Before I purchased this book, I would have liked a proper blurb on the back of this book, as it only really has a summary of the characters.
I love this book, as it is an enthralling, emotional story, and you could read it again and again and again. THe last book in the trilogy id being written right now!
