I really cannot recommend this pub/restaurant enough. It has the wonderful relaxed atmosphere of a pub yet the food of a top quality restaurant. There is a play area for the children and it is situated in the canal so it has lovely views and walks in the Cheshire countryside as a bonus.
It has recently been renovated and looks welcoming; the menu is delicious and reasonably priced. I have (so far) eaten Thai mussels, roast dinner, king prawns, mushroom tagliatelle, cheesecake and lamb shank (not all in one sitting ha), every dish I have eaten is wonderful. I have recently been told they do the best homemade pies so I guess that’s what I will be ordering next.
