Molton Brown are great at marketing. Their products evoke a feeling of quality and luxury and so do their shops. I do quite like some of the products; especially warming eucalyptus. However, when I read the ingredients label I was disappointed. Yes, there are a couple of luxury and sometimes exotically sourced ingredients but there are a hell of a lot of nasty chemical ingredients in there too - not too disimilar to the ingredients that youwould find in any supermarket shower gel.
People who are buying luxury bathing products are becoming increasingly concerned with what is in them. Sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates and PARABENS are a big 'no no' nowadays and yet Molton Brown is still plying its products with them. This surprises me.
Come on Molton Brown, you are going to have to up your game somewhat in the near future if you are to hold on to an increasingly ingredient conscious clientelle.
