In short, they are just not able to turn up on time. The initial appointment was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, I had taken a day off to be there.

The second appointment was a promise that they would arrive before 8am so that I would have time to get to work, as you will no doubt have guessed from countrywide's generally terrible reviews, they didn't.

In short, if you end up with these surveyors you better book a week off just to be sure you will see them.

Hopeless, but it won't matter because if your mortgage company uses a panel, you will be stuck with these losers; the bargain basement sale bin of surveyor companies.
