Would recommend if you've not got the 2006 version but if so would wait and see what 2008 holds for the game.

Championship Manager has definitely been improved from the first couple of championship managers but I would say that it's not up to scratch to be able to compete with the big football games out there like Fifa. Graphics are much better and you can have some great fun but it doesn't last long and can get quite boring - it's not one of those games where you sit for ages and that you miss playing - you'd pick Fifa over it any day, believe me. The Championship Manager PC game is class! Maybe not as good as the previous in the series, but come on, it's still class with the second patch installed. Footy manager is total rubbish.
