I went into the wimpy at Southend Victoria, and the manager was extremely rude and came across as a bully to his staff, and when I commented he swore at me and told me to get out of the restaurant. Then started making jokes with co workers

Fantastic food ,fantastic servic and a fairly quiet and small family retaurant.

the food at this location was the worst food I have ever had,for a newly opened facility it was filty,when I told the manager ,he said if you didn't like it don't come again,both my girlfriend and I were sick after eating there

Overpriced & flavourless, no matter what your selection it is all very poor. Fries are not good Burger King are more expensive, but are fantastic. It is worth paying the extra

An afternoon outing ended in everybody's day being ruined - after we all had an overcooked meal each, at the Wimpy Peterborough food-joint. This over-priced & disgusting meal left all family members feeling sick as dogs. This experience has put all of us from ever going to a Wimpy again, I personally would rather go hungry than eat such poor quality food again. I've rarely used Wimpy, but when I did I enjoyed the experience, but I guess times change & they've decided to buy the cheapest food & price it as high as possible. Others in the joint (I can't bring myself to call it a restaurant) also were moaning as they left.

When we got there, the server jumped on us right away. They directed us to a table that we were already going to sit at, and their customer service skills left a lot to be desired. Our food was overpriced, lacked any flavour, and we were constantly aware of the manager behind the counter with his arms folded, patrolling up and down and doing nothing much other than taking money from customers who were finished and paying. When we finished, we went up to pay and were complaining, which he ignored until I outrightly asked him if he had even an apology for us, when prompted he just laughed and said "sorry".

I have just come home after eating at my local whimpy. which I have not eaten in before as I always knew it to be a burger king. I am writing a review because i wanted to express how very dissapointed I was with not only the meal but the whole experience at eating at a whimpy resturant for the first and last time!As I arrived there was nobody behind the counter then someone wondered out from a side door,who had dirty uniform and from what I could see didnt look like they should have been in work, full up with a cold or somthing along those lines! we then ordered our meal( two quater pound burger meals) and the lady took our money. I was then suprized to see she was the only member of staff working there,so after handling our money she then started handling our food, all those lovely germs passed from our money onto our food! As I watched her prepare our burgers and put them in the microwave to be cooked, yes the microwave no flame grilled taste here! I was really shocked.The chips that had already been cooked got cooked again,and i was served my meal.I took a bite and needless to say it tasted terrible and just to wash it down a very flat diet coke! All in all I am so dissapointed with whimpy if they carnt provide the staff to run a resturant then in my opinion it should never open. The food, cleanliness and lack of staff made my eating out exprience at whimpy one ill never forget. I can honestly say I would never visit a whimpy food chain again! I look forward to hearing of a whimpy representative shortly and maybe they can apologise for taking my money and replacing it with a unforgetable meal! regards Sarah.

Superb service ...really good food, a nice friendly place. Sort of had a personal touch to it, kids pics on the wall was a cute touch. I will definately go back, and the food is so much better than the big chains. It has a real home made quality. Service was really cheerful and polite, very rare these days. I hope we don;t lose this Wimpy ...so many have disappeared!

wimpy thornton heath is one of the worst restaurants i have ever been to!!! the sausage my daughter had had green bits in it! filthy toilets, rude staff, i would NEVER go there again! but then again, most other wimpys are lovely, its probbably just the people who work there who are ruinining it

MY HUSBAND AND I PURCHASED A MEAL DEAL FROM THIS STORE ONLY TO FIND WHEN WE GOT BACK TO THE CAR IT WASNT FIT TO EAT. THERE WAS NO SALAD THE LETTUCE WAS DRIED UP THE BAP WAS STALE AND THE CHIPS WERE OVER COOKED AND THE COFFEE WASNT FIT TO DRINK. THE FOOD WENT TO THE CROWS AND THE COFFEE TIPPED AWAY. BECAUSE WE HAD BEEN UP SINCE 4AM WE JUST WANTED A LIGHT SNACK TO LAST US UNTIL WE GOT HOME. WE HAVE BEEN TO YOUR WIMPY AT MILFORD STAFFORDSHIRE AND THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT THERE AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY COMPLAINTS. MAY I SUGGEST YOU TRAIN YOUR STAFF AT THIS BRANCH MORE THROUGHLY AS THEIR CUSTOMER SEVICE IS DISGUSTING. WE NEVER BOTHERED TO TAKE IT BACK WE JUST WANTED TO GET HOME. Basically this was the worst experience I have ever had when eating out. The restaurant stunk of sweat and the employees looked dirty and weren't doing much. When I finally received my orange juice the glass was dirty, there was a hair in it and it was warm. I got my food a short while after and it was absolutely disgusting, the worst thing I have ever eaten.

I mean, I enjoy burgers and fast food. McDonalds and KFC I like and were cheaper than what I got.

I got a pork rib burger and it tasted like absolute cr*p, it was like plastic and it was lukewarm. It had massive lumps of fat in it and the plate was dirty.

Everytime I walk past I feel sick and conned.

BEWARE.

wimpy will never get another rand out of me!!
