Wetherspoons, Matlock, Derbyshire

Depending on the staff, its ok. One staff member though actually moaned because we asked her to clean a table, despite being practically empty, as it was in a booth and we like sitting there. It had just been vacated. She didn't see why we couldn't sit elsewhere as people were a nuisance insisting on sitting there when there were plently of other tables. She came and cleaned it obviously not happy about it, which is why I apologised and got all of the above said to me. You would think when it was practically empty they would be glad of the custom. At that time we were going every week. We started going less after that though and started going to the Derby one when we did go. Unfortunately though that is further away so we have ended up going back there as it is reasonably cheap. I seem to have avoided her since and most of the staff are better. Meals are mostly nice, occasionally over cooked. Unfortunately since we went yesterday, I have felt really ill and hubby has started with a bad stomach so can't help but wonder as the chicken was dry yesterday if it had been hanging around.
