Nice looking country pub, but that's all. The dining area was not full, but the service was very slow(could it be deliberate, because they want you to buy more drinks during your long wait?). As a result, the children with us got bored and restless waiting, so we had to take them outside to run around on the green. Main course was small and lacking. Pudding very small and disgraceful(supposed to have been gooseberry crumble, more like a jam cake in a small dish). I will not be going to this or any other Chef and Brewer pub in the future.
