I have had a series of issues with these guys and they owe me nearly £1000 pounds after taking your money they will give you false delivery dates, send cheaper inferior items which take forever to get replaced. They will never return your phone calls, their main phone number as of time of writing this just brings up a message saying that the mobile you have dialed is switched off. I ordered weeks ago and was told the floor would be next day delivery, never arrived called was told next day this happened 5 times, 6 weeks later no floor. Now he does not answer the phone or respond to emails. I have involved my CCard company to recover the money. Sounds like a young lad who I dealt with. This is an embarrassing tale of how we were taken for mugs by a company that is obviously set up just to defraud people. We ordered and paid for a floor and arranged delivery date for a few months time when we were ready to install it. We rang and confirmed delivery 30 days before it was needed and everything was confirmed by ‘Your Floors and Doors’. I can say quite truthfully that this is the worst company I have every had the missfortune to deal with. They failed to deliver on two separate occasions and as a result I had to cancel the fitter. It took three phone calls to get them to email a confirmation invoice and when it finally arrived it was not the price agreed. Do not touch them!!!
We've been waiting for our floor for weeks now and had to cancel the fitter few times. We paid for next day delivery and the item was not delivered even after few weeks later. We are still in the process of obtaining a refund. I know they are cheeper but it will cost you double in the end. DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!!!!!!

Your floors and doors are without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with.I ordered wooden flooring from them on Monday to be delivered at the end of same week. The flooring never arrived. It took me a day to contact them and when I did the person on the other end just said it was going to be delivered the next week. Glad you got your money back, I have now received my refund after a couple of months of trying and sending them letters, I ended up going through the bank chargeback scheme and they reversed the payment the day they reviewed my case. It's frustrating so many people are having the same problems....

I normally only write reviews when I receive a good service, but felt that people need to know about this dreadful company. We are still awaiting a refund for a floor that we ordered in October. They sent the wrong floor so we requested to send it back and get a refund as they couldn't provide what we wanted. I have just read your review I can't believe you are still waiting for a refund! Have you received it yet? I have just contacted my bank and spoke to the debit card dispute department you need to get an email from them confirming the amount of the refund, the date of transaction, the last 4 digits of your card and the expected refund time. 15 days after receipt of that email you can process a claim for debit card disputes and they will recover the money from the retailer association. Maybe this could be of help to you? Best of luck!

Ive just had dealings with this company!
Ive not been charged via my card and have cancelled the card.After placing an order with them, no order was recieved at their so called distribution wharehouse. Even though I had been told to collect it there.(After coming up from Manchester to Leeds no less!!) . The joker at YFAD informed me it had been an oversight on their part. And that the flooring now would have to be preordered and I would have to wait another week and a half!!
I have warned the young lad on the phone(who claims to be the MD of the company!!(I thought he was the tea boy!!) That if any attempt is made to take anymoney off my card... Well, He will be eating hospital food for a long time afterwards!!..Thats a promise!!

Sorry you're having problems. We finally got our money back recently. We had to get the fraud department of our bank to deal with it. Be sure to put it all in writing on an email that you can prove you've sent asking them not to take any money. That way if you have to get your bank involved too, you have proof that they shouldn't have taken it in the first place.
They really do take the mickey on the phone. I'm pretty sure there's only one person there and he's definitely having a laugh!
Good luck and I hope you have no further problems with them. Trust me... go elsewhere! We got our solid wood flooring from a company called LLP in the end - they were very good and very reasonable prices. We went through ebay to find the discounted rates.

I then rang on Monday 10th December to request a receipt as the money had been taken from my account. I confirmed delivery time. 14th December, no deliver, no contact. I am still waiting for my refund, first they said 3 days then it was 5. Today is day 5 so if the money has not arrived I plan on calling the fraud department at my bank. I told them this as well and they didn't seem to care, the guy on the phone sounds like he is in bed he doesn't speak clearly and not once has apologised he just doesn't seem to care.
We had the issue of not getting through for all of December, they just let the phones ring out. Hopefully you will get your order but try to call, they seem to pick up the phones first thing if that helps.

I am waiting for a refund as well.. ordered flooring on 16th Dec heard nothing from them untill we phoned and asked for a delivery date we were informed flooring was out of stock and we had been refunded. When we checked the account they had taken double the amount required and put nothing back. We have phoned them twice on 7th and 9th January been told both times our money has been refunded whicjh is untrue. When i asked to speak to the manager the same guy that answered the phone came back on. Getting nowhere so leaving it to credit card fraud dept.

I have had to do the same, they have now confirmed the refund has been actioned but haven't received the money nor is it pending as I contacted my bank. They haven't seemed bothered at all when I told them I will leave it with the bank to review and don't seem to care.
I have contacted the bank and have asked them to look into.

Still no money recieved. Phoned them on 15Jan got told usual story " the money has been refunded" I check with the bank each time before I phone them so this is 4 times they have been lying. Have had enough now so the banks fraud department are dealing with it,
