It has been a very long time since I have experienced polite and helpful customer service, either in a normal shop online. Staff are usually not bothered with customers but I was pleasantly surprised with rug bugs. The phone operators were very helpful, they made suggestions using the specifications I gave them and I went with their recommendation. I am very pleased with rug bugs, the rug it self was very nice and the quality was better than I expected for the price I paid. Most impressive was the general customer service. The phone operators seem to be very well trainedabout the rugs and they were very very polite. Lots of choice on website and prompt delivery - even received a phone call the day before to confirm delivery. Ordered green/brown striped rug. The quality is excellent, very soft and thick. Slightly disappointed with the colour. One of the stripes is a bright lime green but colours look more subtle on website. Also pattern of stripes more uniform than portrays in the picture. Bought a circular shadow rug which is absolutely heaven to stand on! It does shed a tiny bit, hence the 4/5 review. Ad for the company, I took them up on their price match guarantee...yes, they do honour it! They provide updates by email to let you know the status of the order...very good. I ordered a rug from Rug Bugs. It did not arrive after 7 working days as advised. I called then but the phone kept ringing out over and over again. When I eventually got through j was told when my rug would be delivered but after waiting in all day, it did not arrive. I've also sent three messages through their website and received no response. This company trades money but does not deliver the goods. FRAUDSTERS! (read more)

When I had'nt received anything from them, I phoned them and was told the person who took the order had gone sick.So I would have to wait another 5 days. 5 day's later and still nothing, so I phoned them up again and they said they were emptying the container and would phone back later. My bank account was debited for an out of stock rug. After a few e-mails back and forth I was assured the money would be returned. Needless to say that never happened. Furher e-mail and phone contact was completely ignored. I finally had to contact the bank to arrange a chargeback. (read more)

Ordered a rug at beginning of February 2012. 2 delivery dates passed without it being received. Since then, trying to get any information out of them has been a nightmare. When I phoned, some unctuous person kept patronisingly calling me "dear" and still no result nor the promised credit. I have been persistently lied to by this company over the past four months. I have not recieved the rug I paid for back in October and on two occassions I was informed that it would be delivered on a particular date and it did not arrive. The owner is very friendly - couldn't be more charming to speak to, but don't be fooled, he is a consumate liar and in my opinion he cannot be trusted. I have had a terrible service with rugbugs and i say avoid if possible. I had an in stock rug on order for 2 weeks and i had to chase and chase them to find out when it would be delieverd. Even had to get my husband to call as i was worried it was fraudulant. I was promised a delivery date and then 3 days later told it was a communication problem and it wouldnt come and i could wait or get a refund. It seems that you are in the same position as me, with regards to this company. They have had my money for four months now and have promised delivery on two occassions. I have reported the matter to my bank and asked for a charge back. Please do the same, he needs closely down as quickly as possible before anyone else loses their money.

after reading the reveiws on here I thought here is a company I can trust, how wrong was I, I placed an order and money came out my account straightaway, however after more than 3 weeks and numerous e-mails and calls im still waiting.
