Carpetright 50% off & free fitting ..yeah right whatever!

I went to Carpetright to get a quote for carpet to be fitted thoughout the house. I was given the sales talk regarding the 50% discount and the free fitting.

I have a three bedroom house, so 4 decent size rooms and a boxroom for the last bedroom upstrairs also the hallway stairs and upstairs landing.

The quote came to £2275 including 50% discount and the free fitting. I also had to pay a depoist to keep that offer open for i was told, two weeks, the depoist was £100 (wasn't really happy about the depoist because i had not even ordered yet.

Anyway decided to try a local online carpet dealer,I did not mention about Carpetright to them, the local dealer had no offers and no free fitting!

The quote i got from them was £1990 with no 50% discount and no free fitting.

When Carpetright came to measure up i asked what the quote would of been without their discount, he replied i should add a extra £1300 to the £2275 so £3575.

DO NOT GO TO CARPETRIGHT TO GET YOUR CARPET!
