Delivery in Highlands diabolical !

We ordered a new bed 30th January with delivery in 4-6 weeks. They phoned 9th March to say delivery would be 12th March ( 6 weeks from order ) but unfortunately that was the one day we could not have anybody to open the house and asked for another date. They said they would schedule us for their next delivery.
I phoned the store after 8 weeks and they said the company would phone me within next 10 days to arrange delivery – they never bothered to phone. I phoned the store again after 9 weeks and they said the company would phone either that afternoon or the following day – they never bothered – again. I again phoned the store, after almost 10 weeks, who said the company had agreed to phone back early the next day – again they never bothered. Finally the store said ( 9th April – TEN WEEKS after order ) the company would phone either that afternoon or the next day to arrange delivery within the next 3 days- probably Sunday or Monday so we kept these days free. They – again - never bothered phoning so I contacted the store.
The factory eventually called and said they had decided to change their delivery from the Saturday or Sunday and it would now be Thursday or Friday ! I arranged Thursday and made arrangements to ensure I would be at home. They then phoned the following day to say they would now arrive on Wednesday ! What a (dis)organisation.
Never again would I buy anything from this company who can only deliver to Inverness, Capital City of the Highlands, on only 2 specific dates ( frequently changeable) within a 10 week period. Its only a bed – not a fully fitted kitchen ! Goodness knows what the delivery arrangements would be for the Islands !
