This is simply a gorgeous caravan. From the curved cabinetry which looks so much better than cheaper looking straight boxed units, to the quality of the fittings, this is a quality product. Even the hinges are hand sourced from Italy rather than chinese rubbish. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and everything works as it should. These caravans were way ahead of their time with the positioning of the gas bottles over the axle so much safer that Bailey have finally adopted it with their Orion model. And how about a spare wheel accessed from a trap door inside the van ? Wonderful.

It is a terrible shame that Avondale went bust and that nobody saw the business sense to revive them. They were built in the Midlands and should have been supported more. When you step in the Eagle, it is so different from maintstream caravans and feels so much more like home.
