I have been with this company for several years as they insured my Motorhomes. I was always very satisfied with their service, in fact it was excellent.
However we have now had a brand new holiday chalet built on a campsite that has planning permission and is registered with the County Council and The National Parks. I was refused insurance cover by Caravan Guard as they couldn't find the camp site registration and the chalet has been built by an independant joiner. They only insure branded name chalets and cabins on luxery holiday parks.
They advertise insurance for chalets, cabins, holiday homes and more. This is obviously not true.
Very dissatisfied with this company and when I do find one who will insure this cabin I will post it in case anyone else has the same problem.
Cabins are becoming very popular and they don't necessarily have a brand name.
Caravan Guard needs to recognise this fact.

Hi
Leisuredays are able to insure chalets that don't have a brand name on a council registered site.
It's difficult to look into this without your specific details. If you could please contact us again and we'll look into this further.
