“Read the "unprinted" small print”

Written on: 24/09/2012 by Verander (1 review written)

Like everyone else, when I first spoke to them they were customer service personified but now have turned into complete scammers (in my personal opinion).

I hired a vehicle from them to take my daughters to the Reading Festival. I noted their requirements for 12.50 a day or they would take a £1000 bond for 28 days. I enquired about this and without even referring back to me they took the £12.50.

Unfortunately I had an accident which they say is uninsured (the van roof was damaged - how is that uninsurable on a flaming van??)

They were very nice about it and committed to contact me with estimates for the damage etc.

They didn't - the first I knew about it is when they have taken £1900 out of my bank account. Amonsgt the thigs they are charging me for is £405 for the time when the vehicle could not be rented out. It was perfectly drivable and there is no evidence they lost revenue.

Be very careful...in fact...don't be very careful...just AVOID them at all costs
