We have just purchased a new (2016 model) Swift Corniche, it was at a nicely discounted price that we couldn't refuse, after much research on alternatives. Our old van is in storage at Wandahome and the offer of part ex was reduced after damp was found around the back window. I was not aware of it but when I looked under the rear window seal it was indeed saturated and would have been expensive to repair. “Unfair practices”

Had to cancel order of new caravan 3 MONTHS! before it was even set to be built at the factory. Wandahome would not return phone calls so I put it in writing. They said they didn't receive it even though it was signed for and I have proof of posting and delivery. They refused to return my deposit of £2,000.00 claiming that they could not cancel the order at the factory and that it would be difficult to sell because of upgrades that I wanted. I returned to South Caveon my way home from the first time use of a new Swift Corniche van which had 6 niggles arising from items which did not worked/had broken. The service reception manager listened sympathetically to my list, phoned the service manager offered my and my wife a cup of coffee, and while we enjoyed the coffee theyhad in 30+ minutes repaired/sorted all the problems. we collected our new caravan a Swift Corniche 20/4 from Wandahome on Saturday, we originally purchased the caravan from the caravan show at the NEC back in February and the reason we decided to buy the caravan from Wandahome was they were offering a good deal on the new caravan and gave us a fair price on the part exchange on our old one. “Worst Afterservice ever - buyers beware!”

We bought our 2017 caravan from Wandahome South Cave at the NEC caravan show in October 2016 and collected our van in November 2016. As we lived along way from the dealer we were promised an overnight stay on the company's own pitch to try out our van, only to be told that this wasn't actually open and they could only accommodate us at a site 30 miles further away from them and our home. “Efficient and effective experience”

I had a phone call the day before I was due to collect my new caravan to confirm the everything was on schedule. Wandahome have their own small caravan park on site, which is really handy, especially when travelling from Scotland with my trade in. However don't expect to get much sleep as it is right on the main very busy road. Staff were all very friendly and professional and were on hand to solve the occasional problem. We took delivery of our new caravan from Wandahome South Cave recently and cannot praise them enough for the service they have provided. We purchased the van at the NEC show in Oct 2016 and were given a delivery date of Feb 2017. However, this was delayed to March by Swift the manufacturer. Visited a Caravan show in Hull back in September. We only went to look, but the array of caravans was just too much. We sat down with several salesmen to discuss our requirements. We ended up chatting to the WANDAHOME stand, and in particular the man from the sales team. “After sales service”

Although the work carried out in the after sales department is of an acceptable standard trying to contact staff for updates is impossible and I possibly made 80 phone calls over a 4 week period with my calls never been returned. I do not find this appropriate and will consider taking the caravan elsewhere for routine services… Read Full Review

For the very same reason I chose to have our new Lunar Eclipse purchased in May 2015 serviced by a NCC Approved Mobile Workshop..(it's also more convenient for me) however I am now experiencing difficulty as major warranty work is required for damp and I am being told by Wandahome that they will not make a Warranty Claim on my behalf without me paying a non-refundable charge of £60 for them to do their own test as they won't accept an Approved Workshop Engineer Report.
This rubs salt in the wound as I not only have a 2 year old van purchased from new " riddled with damp" to use the engineers phrase, but I am being penalised by Wandahome for not having my van serviced by them!

I am currently making appropriate enquiries with Trading Standards etc. I wonder if anyone else has experienced bad after-sales service following a "marvellous Sales Experience"?
