As a new recruit to caravanning I purchased a vintage caravan from Wandahome and was very grateful for the help received from the salesman. I fell for Avondale Mayfly instantly but having no experience as a single person embarking on this new way of life I was clueless. I need not have worried as he fixed everything for me before collection. I then went on my way for the maiden trip to find out how everything worked and was busy learning the ups and downs. first class service from booking van on site,explained problems i had with the caravan ,they were very busy booked up till june i said we were looking to go away with the van in one weeks time . the lady on the desk said they would try and fit it in if possible but could not promise anything . the van was taken in on the wednesday and they rang me the following monday i cannot thank them enough for their promt service would recomend them to anyone. it was very nice to be treated in a civial way… Read Full Review

“First class service”

Our visit was initially for two minor warranty rectifications but when setting off from home the caravan became detached from the car at very slow speed.The damage was quite small requiring replacement of brake cable and jockey wheel and rewiring electric plug. We reported what had happened on arrival and told not to worry they would sort everything out. Within a couple of hours it was all sorted. We purchased a caravan at the NEC and put ours as part exchange, told them it had a dent and paint had come off where an awning pole rubbed, the guy said it would be fine. When we got to wandahome to collect the new van they said our van had major damage and would cost £1300 to repair. Just had my caravas annual service done with them for the fifth time I cannot fault the company there attention to detail is second to none, they found a small amount of damp in one place called me immediately so they could have a copy of the tick sheets, they are dealing with the manufacturer direct under the guarantee. I purchased my new Lunar Clubman SI last April. The sales team were friendly, polite and very reasonable in my dealings with them. As I experienced some teething problems with the caravan the After Sales team,  were superb in getting the problems put right. I don't like over egging the pudding but these two people are gems to deal with and a credit to the company. Thank you . “Motorhome maintenance”

During storage, the vehicle battery on my motorhome went flat. At short notice, the Service Team took charge of the vehicle, fully charged the battery and checked for its ability to maintain charge over a few days. I rang wandahome on the 23rd dec to ask wen the storage compound was closed over christmas.. the receptionist said closed christmas day and boxing day. “Avoid at all costs”

I cannot begin to describe how strongly I would advise avoiding this dealership. My experience has been appalling from start to finish. After buying a new caravan from them at the Caravan Show at the NEC last year I have had nothing but a catalogue of concerns about their service, honesty and integrity. Fantastic after care! When my Swift awning developed a fault I contacted Swift directly and after a series of emails they told me they could not help me as there wasn't a repairer near to my home and suggested I contact the company I purchased it from.
