Having been recommended to Ropers Caravans we were extremely disappointed with the service we received from certain parts of the team.
Our New caravan was delivered to the site directly as we don’t have a tow bar & went straight into winter storage so we didn’t really get the chance with checking it all over fully prior to it being stored & as it came with a 12 month warranty we were quite confident any issues would be sorted under the warranty.
The warranty isnt worth the paper it’s written on & Ropers caravans are a Joke, we found a small number of small faults, Ropers refused to come out to the caravan & said we need to take it in, hang on here we told them when we bought it we had no tow bar now you want us to pay £200 for a tow bar for what we knew was simply £50 of repairs so we agreed they would send the parts & we would fit them ourselves.
They still have sent the parts after some 4 months.
Having also noticed Cracks in the sky light we again spoke to Ropers caravans who say that this is down to wear & tear, how can a full crack along its supporting arm be wear & tear?.
So although you may think this family run business with its warranties is protecting you as a consumer then I would beware with parting with your hard earned, they failed to send some of the parts & they flatly refused to replace a clearly broken sky light, the warranty is worth nothing unless it’s cheap little bits that need doing.
