I had heard about Winsfords through friends and family who all gave it a great review, I wanted a quick and stress free way of buying a car and thought it sounded brilliant. On arrival everything was great, although I was kept waiting quite a while as they lost my name in the system, they offered to give me 6months tax free on my new car, which I feel was fantastic, I proceeded to buy the car which they promised they would service for me as it was due and I had bought a hands free kit also. When I went to pick up the car, it wasn't clean, It had bird poo all over one side but thought since things had been great it was fine. I got home and realised that the car had not been serviced when they had promised to do it. I rang but no one answered, on eventually getting through the guy said it hadn't been requested but they would do it, this really annoyed me as Id asked about 4 times and seen the sales guy write it down. To make things worse the hands free kit didn't work like it was supposed to which I mentioned. So I had to drive the car back to winsford, an hours drive away, to, have it serviced and to look at the hands free, the guy who dealt with me didn't apologise for not doing the service and I just felt like I was hassle to him and He couldn't be bothered dealing with me. Now id bought the car the professional sales manner id previously experienced had disappeared. I was told there was nothing wrong with the hands free and that I just needed to update the software. This is actually wrong, on checking the manufacturers website I found the problems I am having are due to incorrect installation which often happens with the car I have. I fixed it myself, bascially re-installing it, something which I paid for. Overall great sales service, decent prices, but just hope nothing goes wrong as if it does, they become a different sales team altogether.
