“Ridiculous Brakes replaced by Wilco Motosave ”

I have issue with brakes fitted just over month ago. I reported huge sign of rust on brake discs .When I come to garage they don't want to remove and clean to avoid rust come back again. They told me as this is normal with rust on brake discs .This is not the best experience with this garage. Also ,mechanic damage one item from my audi boot and don't bother to sort this out. When I speak with manager he told me is only one way to sort out.I need paint brake discs witch is ridiculous. Listen this.When you purchase brake disc from Wilco Motosave you have to remember ,brake will gone rusty and you will need paint to avoid damages. Very professional.. WELL DONE FOR YOU WILCO MOTOSAVE YOUE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST COMPANY WITH HIGHLY USELESS STAFF

“Ford transit tyre”

If these were the only tyre fitters in huddersfield I would run on my rims before use them messed me about with a transit tyre and being self employed cost me time and money put phone down on me twice when I was trying to find out when it was coming in absolutely terrible

The service I have received from Wilco Motosave has been second to none. From emailing the manager to get a quote, securing price matches and honouring them, to going to the Bramley centre and having continued excellent service from the store manager and the lads working on the vehicles too I can honestly say the service, prices and quality of work is unsurpassed. I would highly recommend Wilco Motosave, particularly the Bramley Branch, if you're looking for great prices, service and good quality parts and fitting as well. 10/10

“Rude and aggressive ”

I recently went to motosave for some number plates to be made; there was 1 car in the garage a taxi, there were 2 customers in the shop and I counted 3 staff. I went to the counter for number plates after 10 minutes I was asked if I wanted any help , I said I wanted some plates made up I was told “you’ll have to wait pal I’m busy “ “ how long I asked” “about an hour I’m on my own “ he clearly wasn’t but I suspect his colleague was on lunch, I smiled at his reply and was met with very aggressive reply “don’t laugh at me pal “...... both him and his colleague were more interested in selling a set of alloy wheels to the other customer in store I left and got plates at Halfords, I will never use them again, no where to complain on their website or head office

“Bad mannered ”

Had my car serviced at wilthorpe road branch in Barnsley very rude staff one was too busy on his phone the whole time instead of doing work very unprofessional if you ask me attitude towards customers where disgusting definitely won’t be coming back or recommend it either used your for years before definitely won’t be coming back

“Useless unqualified and dangerous ”

this company should not be trading. I will explain explain my brief experience with these sharks. I am a qualified time served mechanic with 13 years in the trade. My first job in the trade was repairing tyres. I did about 50 a week so I know what I am talking about. I also rebuild engines , gearboxes and have rebuilt 20 plus classic cars. I know what I.am doing and properly have more qualifications than the whole of the Morley branch combined. I took my car for 4 new tyres. They broke a wheel nut !! They can’t fix it as they are not mechanics !!!!! Had to take it to another garage ... £40 less than 200 miles later I got punctures in 2 tyres. Took the car back to moto save . Guess what , one tyre had to be replaced as the screw went in at an angle in the middle of the tire it never got through the canvas. And then they phoned me to tell me they had broken a wheel nut and blamed it someone tightening it too much. Cost me another £50 at another garage to remove the wheel but they tightened

“Motorsave are not registered with any trade body ”

Told Hunslet motorsave Leeds I have an air bag warning light staying on my dashboard, he gave me a price for diagnostic check and said plus parts and labour,they checked my car saying it's the air bag impact sensor and they don't do work on the air bag system, I said you have waisted my time and money, you should have told me that you can't work on the air bag system and I wouldn't have came here, I paid them to get my car back and made a complaint, there regional manager said I'm 100% behind my staff and they have done nothing wrong and said i am clearly mistaken and don't understand. motorsave are not registered with the motor Ombudsman or any other trade body so you can't hold them to account.

“Hurrendous. Rude. ”

Worst company ever dealt with, last 5 or 6 visits. Allow cars fixed by students unsupervised, which then are done wrong, dangerous, when you ask why, get spoken to very rudely, questioned why your complaining, made to feel like it's customers fault. Go to a different branch, and questioned why you use other branch they have sales targets too you should use this branch, again lots of questions and made to feel awkward, none of the things looked at they were supposed to. Go back to the other branch and again not done, very rude service, No call back said they didnt have phone number, when you watched them write it down, no car overnight then next day we cant fix it. Staff chatting behind your back, phone head office and even worse. Laughed at on the phone then hung up on. Call back and promised a call back from a manager the next day. Several days later still no call. I suppose you get what you pay for. This company are cheap in every aspect. Avoid at all costs.

“Bad quote ”

Took car for repairs to Scunthorpe in June due to a rattle. The repair bill was £250 for 8 weeks later it to be back. Take car back they tell me it’s drive shaft will be £290 but we Carnt get one. Take car to another local garage yea drop link mate £25. Not much difference. Avoid avoid avoid. U will be payin for work that doesn’t need doing.

“Quoted for work that didn’t need doing ”

Took my car into Wilco motorsave in June 2020 due to a rattle coming from passenger side (front) they told me what it was. A few components that gave me a bill of £250. After the work was done I took my car home. Hardly drove due to lockdown. Started driving it again. 8 weeks later. The rattle returned. So I spoke to motor wilcosave customer services and was book back in for 12 pm. They had a look at it checked the parts they fitted. Came back and told me it was my drive shaft. £290 but we Carnt get the part. I struggled to believe they Carnt get the part and struggled to believe it’s my drive shaft. I then contacted another local garage and attended today. He lifted my car checked everything and told me it ain’t got drive shaft it’s a drop link. Problem sorted. £25 Motor Wilcosave quoted me £290. There’s a big difference. The customer services is shocking. You get booked in for a time and find urself day waitin after ur slot for ur car to go in. Please don’t use the then they will take ur money for nothing. They work on commission. More work the mechanic can find more money he makes. Although they said they couldn’t get the part the impression they gave me is they don’t want to do it as the mechanic who I used uses the same supplier they do. Please please tell please avoid this place. Owt to make more cash out of you

“Ignored by garage”

I booked my car in to wilkos motosave on Saturday the 18th for an exhaust checking on Tuesday 9.00am. Took my car in at 9.00 and was told they would ring pretty soon with a price, they would then have to order a part if needed. Still had not rung by 10.00 am so rang them to check if they had correct mobile number, was told they would call me back within next half hour. Waited until 10.45 still not heard anything so went to the garage. My car had not moved. Was told that my car had been booked in for 10.00, this was not true as I had distinctly told them that I was working so needed to get the car in as early as possible. Took my keys and walked out after telling them how disgusted I was. Went to kwik fit and told them what had happened. They got me in checked my exhaust and it's in the process of being fitted as I write. 10 stars to kwok fit 0 stars for Wilkos. Wilkos gave since rang and apologised but I will not accept an apology from this company. They completely ignored the fact that my car was booked in for 9.00am. I am disgusted at the treatment I have received and will never use this company again. These people seriously need customer care training.

“Bicycle repair”

I called into the swinton branch on the off chance they could check my brakes as the rear one had failed on the way home from work, I got a bike mechanic. I explained the problem and he came straight out to check my bike, after inspection he said " i would normally book this in and do it but i honestly cannot send you away in good conscience with no brakes" He showed me what the issue was (screws had come out of the rotor disc holding it on) he replaced the missing ones and adjusted the brakes so they now work perfectly. I am not exaggerating when i say that this could have been life threatening for me had he not taken the time to come and service them for me (if the rotor had come off as i tried to brake in traffic i could have easily been involved in an accident) I am extremely grateful to him and will definately be using them in the future to do any work on my bike

“Totally useless!”

I had a tyre put on tbe back of my car on the 8th June at Wilco Motosave Wragby Road Lincoln. They told me my tracking was way out despite it driving perfectly straight. I trusted them. After they had so called tracked the vehicle it pulled to the nearside. Yesterday I took it to the Gainsborough branch and tbey had a second attempt. This time the steering wheel isnt straight. I called tbe manager at the Wragby Road Lincoln branch today and he annoyngly kept calling me mate all the time which I asked him to stop but he persisted. Anyway, I asked for a refund saying I would get it tracked elsewhere. Still calling me mate he refused. I shall take it up on Monday with trading standards and get the car tracked properly elsewhere.  I will never use these people ever again and I will tell as many leople about this as I can. .

My husband went to Wilco Motosave last month for a light bulb for the car it cost £37.99 and they fitted it free of charge. I went today for the other headlight and they charged me £37.99 plus £10 for fitting. Absolutely disgusted that they would add £10 to the charge. It feels as if the charge was made due to my being a woman as that was the only difference; same car, same branch, same bulb, different sex!

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!”

AVOID Wilco Motosave AT ALL COSTS. I’ve taken my car there for a service as the oil light had come on (last resort as I wasn’t near home and no where else was open). The mechanic said to me there was an issue with the camshaft sensor but he had knocked the error code off expecting that the service may resolve any issues. Oil light was coming on intermittently on the M62 after the service before making a rattling noise in the engine (almost like a tractor), pulled over immediately to check the engine only to realise the ‘experienced’ mechanics hadn’t put the oil cap back on resulting in the engine bay being saturated in oil. Multiple phone calls later to the service manager, branch manager, head office and regional manager, no attempt at resolving the issue has been made. Instead they’ve point blank denied it, laughed down the phone, ended phone calls half way through conversation, all magically stuck to the exact same story line, said that I’d taken the oil cap off myself and told me that they will not deal with it. My car was towed from the M62 to a local garage who has now said major works are needed. Shook his head when I said where it had been. Says it all really.

“Battery labour cost ”

Needed a battery called at motorsave Knottingley west Yorkshire cost £95 for battery not bad I thought then the price for fitted was £198,£103 labour for a battery fitting are they having a laugh, tempted to ring trading standards and how many more have they charged at this rate, anyway after I picked myself up off the floor I got the battery and vowed never to return again.
