“no nonsense warranty ”

Bought a 3 year extended warranty and had to make a claim 18 months in ,call centre open 24 hours per day and was not automated ,our claim was paid out within 24 hours of the work been carried out straight to the garage who carried out the repair so we didn't have to put our hand in our pockets. “Claim on Extended Warranty”

I like the simplicity of the claims process, Jaguar contacted the claims team and within 5 working hours, the claim was approved and the repair had been completed. When I called the following day to process my claim, the speed and ease at which I could submit my claim was second to none. “A dealers perspective ”

As the owner of #JA Autos Ltd I have used WMS for my warranties for many years now. I find them very fair with what is covered and what is not. Generally most of my cars come with a 5 star policy (at least a 4 star in all cases) and this generally gives a good amount of cover. As an award winning dealer myself I certainly wouldn't want to tarnish my reputation by offering inferior products to my customers. “Great warranty cover”

Bought my lovely Audi with a warranty from VGS and had to claim some work the service done after 3 months I was a bit sceptical about waiting to get my money back from VGS , been calling them several times , staff very pleasant and trying to help also giving advice for further actions I would like to specify one lady member of staff but seems like I am not alowed , so overall thank you for dealing with my claim in such a short time . “Really poor experience”

Having a 5* warranty I expected piece of mind, unfortunately when it came to the claim they would not cover all the damage. They have a clause in their terms and conditions which excludes 'consequential damage', so they look at the cause and don't include damage as a direct result of the fault. So, for example, if your timing belt goes, which always causes damage to the engine, they won't cover it the other elements i.e. valve damage. In addition, the speed of service is very slow. I wrote to the address shown in the booklet on 11 April. Unfortunately, I've had my letter returned today informing of a different address to write to, which isn't detailed in your booklet.
I'll resend to the address I've been informed of and also send to the email address in the booklet, in the hope this is correct.

“First Claim for vehicle and not covered”

I have 4* cover vehicle warranty and was very happy to see that the caliper was included in this cover as it had got stuck. I contacted WMS and was told that the caliper was included and they just needed to speak to the garage to confirm the fault and they would cover the cost plus £45 per hour for labour. I took out a 5 star warranty policy with WMS last year on my Land Rover Freelander. I have attempted to claim 3 time for different repairs, ALL OF WHICH SHOULD BE COVERED ACCORDING TO THE POLICY BOOKLET, but WMAS have declined to pay for the repairs. The warranty is not worth the paper it is written on, each time the claims people find a way out of having to authorise the repairs. “Appalling people skills, mis-leading information”

Took out this warranty when buying my used car 3 months ago, BMW 1 Series. Last week the engine light came on, wasn't running properly, no power and struggling to drive it. Took it into a garage that I trusted and they said the timing chain had been stretched. In the warranty booklet it clearly says it covers the "timing chain" and in the terms and conditions says this item must be broken to be claimed against. Agree. They are completely arrogant and have no sense of what a customer would expect from them. Their ethos seems to be to make the claims process as difficult as possible. The fact they drove you to tears is disqusting.

Had the policy for 1 year & 1 week when the turbo went on my car. Following procedure, I rang up and asked for one of their approved garage. Received my 3 month warranty when I purchased my used Porsche 911, the water pump failed, called WMS and told them of my problem, found them to be very professional and polite. Took my car to my local independent Porsche garage, he called WMS to get work authorised, staff were very helpful and the work required was given the go ahead . Very easy company to deal with. Had a problem with my car, phoned WMS for advice, told them my car reg. number, and said where I would like to take it for diagnosis and repair. Was told straight away that was ok, and WMS would deal directly with the garage. Had my car fixed, paid for the repair, and forwarded the invoice to WMS for reimbursement.
