“Great customer service”

Written on: 05/02/2017 by KatieCumbria (1 review written)

After experiencing a few problems with my Peugeot 206 it appeared a fault within the ECU was plausible, and after looking online it appeared that The ECU Doctor was the place to go. I parceled up my ECU and emailed them asking if any further information was needed or if I was okay to send the parcel to them along with details of my car and problems; they came back the same day and confirmed that I was fine to send it and they would await its arrival. Only a couple of days later a very helpful… Read Full Review

“Great ECU for Citroen C5 2004 from Australia”

Written on: 17/01/2017 by hedgeaus (1 review written)

I was unable to start my car Citroen C5 2004 petrol 3l engine due to Engine ECU /Transmission ECU problems. The car was out of service for one year. I bought a plug-and-play Engine ECU from ECU doctor which helped my auto-electrician to fix very complex problem. My lovely 3 liter engine car is running great and I would like to thank ECU doctor for supplying an excellent unit and also for top quality post purchase consultation (free of charge) which helped me to rectify the problem… Read Full Review

“VW Touran 1.9 poor starting ”

Written on: 24/10/2016 by tscanny (1 review written)

Had a starting problem with VW Touran 1.9tdi. Might need between 6 and 30 turns of the key to illuminate the engine indicator. No diagnostic codes other than 01314 - lost communication. Ecu doctor provided a replacement ecu with config copied over. Refitted and car started first time and every time since. Excellent and recommended! … Read Full Review

“I am over the moon !!”

Written on: 18/10/2016 by Taffyboy1 (1 review written)

The engine management light showed on my Mark 2 MX5 a while ago and fault code P1499 was discovered. Valve stripped and cleaned but light still showed. Performance and emissions unaffected so sailed through MOT and ignored light until I decided might want to sell car. Discovered by luck that continual use can cause coil on EGR Stepper motor to go short circuit putting 12V on the ECU eventually frying the motor driver circuit causing the P1499 fault. The fault code does not differentiate between… Read Full Review

“Fantastic Service From The Doctor & Team”

Written on: 28/07/2016 by KOA359 (1 review written)

I had an issue with my fuel system that Peugeot diagnostics indicated it was the ECU, I got on to the Doctor and a trial unit was soon in the post. As it would happen Peugeot diagnostics were incorrect, and with the Doctor I was able to return the trial ECU for a refund and get my original unit returned. That would not happen with Peugeot. A courteous, professional service from the Doctor and Team, I will be recommending them to all… Read Full Review

“Service and Quality”

Written on: 11/07/2016 by Grad (2 reviews written)

I can't praise the ECU Doctor too highly. The service I received was excellent. My ECU when tested, was actually scrap, but a rebuilt replacement was sent, and only cost a few pounds more. The whole turnround was completed in less than a week. The ECU was fitted as per instructions. The car started as soon as the key was turned and ran perfectly. Not too shabby considering the car had been "dead" for 4 or 5 months! I would recommend the ECU Doctor for their service, quality, and communication… Read Full Review

“Please judge for yourself!”

Written on: 02/02/2016 by peugeoterror (1 review written)

Peugeot 1.4 Petrol 2007. Car kept throwing up the same fault codes so ECU sent to The ECU Doctor and they tested it, finding no faults. Just to make sure I fitted their loan ECU which eliminated the original codes but other fault codes were generated in place (oil pressure and RPM faults) The test ECU was returned and I refitted the original ECU only to find all the original fault codes reappeared however, the oil pressure and RPM faults from the test ECU were not present. On their advise I… Read Full Review

“MG ZTT 2.0 CDTi (Auto) - REVIVED!!!! YEE HAH!!”

Written on: 28/01/2016 by Harewood53JD (1 review written)

What can i say but a tremendous salute to the ECU Doctor. These folks are not just ECU doctors, they are truly sensational highly talented and absolutely good people. They know their job inside out for real. My MG-ZTT (I refuse to call it a Rover 75) was down and out, in my garage for over 6 months, while local mechanic tried and failed to properly diagnose the problem. Whilst browsing on the owners forums. BIG THANKS TOO. I located the symptoms and was immediately recommended to get the unit… Read Full Review

“immobiliser cure to skoda felicia 1.3. ecu.”

Written on: 05/12/2015

Having had immobiliser probs for 2 yrs causing occasional and seemingly random starting issues, necessiting several breakdown recoveries, one considered scrapping, though the machine was in all others ways reliable, relatively cheap to maintain and run. It had also recently passed the MOT with no serious issues. I therefore decided toresearch a fix, because every diagnostic done came back to blocked immobiliser electronics in ecu. Having tried several possible alternative organisations, who… Read Full Review

“Careful with these ”

Written on: 05/12/2015 by RussellSpence424 (1 review written)

Fixing an ECU is not always going to work. I paid these 300 pounds for my ECU top be repaired...which worked for 2 months... then same issue. I have put an ecu kit in from the scrappy and wahey car works fine. I sent the ECU back to them and they confirmed there was no fault......maybe their testing system itself cannot identify all faults..especially when intermittent? WHICH MOST ECU ISSUES ARE!… Read Full Review
