My car was booked in for an interim service and due for collection between 8.00 and 9.00am - the local garage the work was sub contracted to telephoned me the day before and asked if they could collect the vehicle at 9.30am. I said that this was inconvenient and an earlier time of 8.00am was agreed. I made work arrangements around this time. Of course, they didn't turn up at 8.00am, I telephoned at 8.46am and they hadn't even left to collect my car some 15-mins away. They had no intention of sticking to the agreed time and were always going to collect my car when it suited them!
This is my wife's car and I had to change all my plans and vehicles so the car could be serviced, arranging friends to pick me up etc, etc etc. you know what its like.
I did speak to a young lady at servicestop, of course all this was my fault as the window to collect the car was 8.00 - 9.00am even though this had been changed and the local garage would never have collected the vehicle in time!
I made a phone call to my local "H*****D's" who were only too pleased for my business and more than helpful.
Servicestop, your customer service needs improvement - try employing people that actually give a hoot! The sub contractor garage has cost you custom.
