Fantastic customer service - beyond expectations

I had my car bumper re-sprayed at their garage around a year ago. Ernie was exceptionally thorough when picking up my car, which I asked to be taken on a truck as I prefer for others not to drive my car if possible. He went above and beyond to reassure me that my car would be in safe hands and was professional throughout the pick-up.

A year later I noticed the lacquer on my bumper starting to peel on a very small section. My first thoughts were how to convince your garage that this was an error on their part and that they should put it right. I wondered if I might be hit with excuses such as ‘you obviously jet wash the car too hard’ or ‘we didn’t respray that corner of the bumper so won’t cover the repair’ etc…

This was not the case at all! He took full responsibility straight away and assured me that they would rectify the problem and provide me with a courtesy car while they had my in for the second re-spray. He was very prompt to respond to emails throughout the whole process and was courteous and professional throughout.

Ernie picked up my car for the second time and was equally as courteous as the first time he towed my car. He again reassured me that the car would be treated properly and made a point to pass on my request for the car not to be washed with a brush. On returning the car, Ernie made a point to cover the wheel and chair with protective film to avoid any dirt transferring to my car interior.

The car was picked up and returned at the times I requested and the whole process was beyond what I have experienced from similar companies in the past.

I am very pleased to have dealt with such a great company, seemingly with customer service and satisfaction at their heart.

From my two experiences with Nationwide I can only assume that their standards are consistently high with every customer.
