Today i had returned my car which went in to have its bumper fixed after a lady crashed into me. To begin with we both agreed a time of 1:30pm today for my car to be returned to me, i was left waiting till gone 2:30pm for my car to actually turn up. Once i had signed for my car checking that they had fixed what it had actually gone in to be fixed for, not thinking it would have anymore damage. About an hour later when i decided to drive i found scratches of substantial size all over my front bumper which were not there before my car went in. I had also been promised that any fuel used would be replaced, instead i have been left with no fuel and a damaged car!

The manager of the Bridgwater centre has provided all the details regarding your repairs, and communications with the centre and we are able to comment on your issues as follows: Whilst we may have suggested to you that the car would be delivered back to you at around 1:30, this was only an approximate time. Perhaps this was not made clear enough to you, for which we apologise. We tend not to give our customers specific delivery and pick-up times as we find our drivers can get held up in traffic or on previous appointments and this then leads to disappointment for other customers. As regards the scratches on your front bumper, we only carried out work to the rear of your car and so do not see how these could have been caused by us. Your car was quite dirty when it came on site and so any scratches already on the bumper were not obvious to us. Although we do not believe we caused this damage we have agreed to repaint the bumper for you as a gesture of goodwill. We have also agreed to reimburse you for the fuel when the vehicle comes back on site. We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience you feel we have caused you and assure you that the bumper and fuel issues will be addressed by the centre. Please contact them directly if you would like to discuss the matter in more detail. Thank you.
